on the day i first met you
i knew that i had found a true friend
to be sure you were there for me
but now it seems i'm left with only memories again

i know better than to question why
our friendship is slowly fading from view
my dear you know i love you with all my heart
but is a ghost is all that i have left of you

i need to hear the truth from you
please don't leave me alone like this
you're moving on and leaving me behind
and now i only know faded dreams of bliss

i've always wanted far too much
i've only just found that much to my dismay
my heart's bleeding cuz  i only wanted to know you're still here
but i know that you're just fading away

it was the end of a friendship and a real complicated relationship. it sux, but it says what i want it to. enough said.

thank you! it did get better- though it's written in present tense, i wrote awhile ago. but thx again :)
